In this work there has been made a numerical approach analysis of dynamics of a hung rotor. A vertical rotor of a ACWW1000 centrifuge has been used as a real object for verification of the discussed model. This rotor due to its constructional features should show gyroscopic effect in the range of rotational speed it can achieve.
